The 211-acre Long Lake near Three Rivers, Michigan, is less than two hours from Chicago, less than an hour from Notre Dame, with easy access to Interstate 80/90. 630-acre Corey Lake, Clear Lake, and Hubbard Lake are nearby. Long Lake is an all-sports lake, but towing skiiers, tubers, and others is not permitted after 7:30 p.m. or before 11 a.m., so evening pontooning and fishing are tranquil. Muskie have been added to the lake, which also has bass and bluegill. The spring-fed, crystal-clear lake has no outlet, so water is pumped out to maintain lake levels. An association monitors water quality.
