Indian Lake is a spring-fed lake in Southwest Michigan. It is between Dowagiac and Eau Claire. The lake covers over 500 acres and has depths of up to 31 feet. South Bend is about 40 minutes from Indian Lake and the city of Chicago is about a two-hour drive.
Being an all-sports lake, people come to the Indian Lake for boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities. The surrounding communities are quiet and can be a nice place to vacation.

Residents and visitors do not have to go far to find good places to eat. Indian Lake Pub and Timberline Inn are both just off the lake. There are also places like Mr. Wahoo’s Eatery and the Railway Cafe in Dowagiac.
