Holden Green is a new bar owned by Steve and Shelly Schroeder. It was opened just mid-last year and is open every day from 2 pm to 10 pm or 11 pm. The bar has vintage accents and collectible artifacts, giving it a historical charm. Glass rods, original mirrors, and a 38-foot bar are some of the unique features. You can spend time in their gaming room or outdoor patio to enjoy drinks with friends.

The James E. Bonine House

18970 M-60, Vandalia

Take a historical tour at James E. Bonine Carriage House in Vandalia. It is a great place to learn about the history and heritage of the area. The structure is from the 1850s, and restoration work began in 2014. The house exhibits interesting architecture and is associated with the Underground Railroad. 

T.K. Lawless Park

Nestled in Cass County, Dr. T.K. Lawless Park, is an 820-acre park with inland lakes. The park gets its name from a physician based in Chicago, Dr. Theodore Kenneth Lawless, and is a famous destination for stargazers. The clear skies provide a great view! 

You also have a variety of ski trails that attract people from all over. Additionally, visitors can spend the day hiking, biking, and fishing. Other amenities include disc golf, a picnic area, a volleyball court, an inner tube sled, and horseshoe pits.
