All-sports Long Lake near Kalamazoo is a 512-acre glacial lake with a maximum depth of 57 feet. It has 315 homes along the shoreline. Lake homes for sale are mostly year-round residences. Ramona Park & Beach, operated by the City of Portage, has a large sandy beach, playground, sports fields, picnicking, and fishing. Anglers can catch largemouth bass, northern pike, bluegill, and others. The Lake Village Homestead Farm on the west side of the lake offers food, recreation, and farm education.
Shopping, dining, and attractions in Portage are just ten minutes away, including a large retail center and the Air Zoo aerospace and science museum.
